The short version

  • Start your delivery record before the first relevant drive.
  • Review trip categories while you still remember the route.
  • Export a date range before you need to reconcile old shifts.

Before the shift: make the first record easy

Choose one repeatable starting point for your records. The important part is consistency: begin the trip record at the same stage of your delivery workflow each time.

Confirm location access and your preferred tracking settings before you start driving. If an automatic trip is missed, add it manually while the route is still easy to reconstruct.

During the shift: separate delivery trips from everything else

Keep delivery drives classified as business trips and review unexpected stops or personal detours before they disappear into a long day of driving.

No Tipper records trip time and mileage together, so the shift log preserves more context than a single odometer note.

After the shift: review while the route is recognizable

Scan the day by date, miles, duration, and category. Correct an incomplete or misclassified trip before you move on to the next shift.

When you need an outside copy, export the selected history as CSV or PDF. These are organized records to review or share; they are not a guarantee that a report satisfies a particular tax or platform requirement.
